Taillight Converter with Integrated Circuit Protection

This unit is rated for up to 2.1 amps for Turns/Stops circuits and 7.5 amps for the Taillight circuit. It adapts import and domestic vehicles with separate turn and stop lights (3 wire system) to standard trailer taillight wiring (2 wire system). It will work with either LED/Incandescent bulbs (vehicle & trailer). The converter has integrated re-settable Short Circuit and Overload protection to safeguard itself and the tow vehicle from shorts and installation wiring mishaps. It is designed not to send feedback through the vehicle circuits and has all solid-state components in potted encapsulation. Please note that it will not work with vehicles with low-side switch. The taillight converter includes an integrated protective cover.
