Installation and Operation Instructions for Electronic Brake Control
Specifications:
- Applicable for 2, 4, and 6 brake applications.
- Features proportional braking via an inertial sensor.
Tools Required:

6 x 3/8" screws.
- Drill with 1/8" bit.
- Screwdriver or wrench.
Safety Notes:
- Keep RF-generating devices (e.g., cell phones) at least 12 inches away from the brake control to avoid interference.
- Disconnect the trailer plug before testing a breakaway switch to prevent damage to the control unit.
- Do not exceed the vehicle’s Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR).
- This unit is not designed for electric-hydraulic trailer brake systems.

Installation Instructions:
Mounting the Unit:

Traditional Bracket Mount:
- Secure the mounting bracket to a solid surface using the provided screws.
- Attach the brake control to the bracket and adjust to the desired position.
- Tighten screws securely.

Dash Mounting Clip:
- Secure the dash clip to a solid surface with screws.
- Slide the brake control into the clip, ensuring the rear slots engage with the clip's tabs.
- Adjust to the proper angle and tighten securely.
Wiring Options:

Generic Wiring Harness:
- Use the included pigtail wiring harness and follow the generic wiring guide.

OEM-Specific Harness:
- Use an OEM wiring harness compatible with your vehicle’s tow package.
Setting Power to Trailer Brakes:
- Connect the trailer to the tow vehicle.
- Adjust the power knob to indicate approximately 6.0 on the display.
- Test at 25 mph on a dry, level surface:
- If trailer brakes lock up, decrease power.
- If braking is insufficient, increase power.
- Repeat until braking is smooth and sufficient without wheel lock-up.
Boost Settings:
- Allows for increased trailer braking sensitivity.
- Three levels available:
- [b.1]: Starts at 13% of the power setting.
- [b.2]: Starts at 25%.
- [b.3]: Most aggressive setting.
- Adjust according to trailer weight and braking performance.
Automatic Leveling:
- The unit automatically levels the inertial sensor for optimal performance.
