Step-by-Step Instructions:
Dash Module Installation:
- Choose a location where the Dash Module can remain horizontal (±20°) and parallel to the vehicle's direction of travel.
- Use the provided template to drill mounting holes.
- Secure the Mounting Collar to the dashboard using screws.
- Insert the Dash Module into the Mounting Collar and secure it.
- Align and snap the Knob Base into place.
- Remove the red anti-static cap after securing the module.
Power Module Installation:
- Mount the Power Module on a flat, ventilated surface using tie wraps or screws provided.
- Avoid placing the Power Module under carpeting to ensure proper cooling.
Wiring the Brake Control:
- Black Wire: Connect to a positive 12V battery source via a circuit breaker:
- 20A for 1-2 axles
- 30A for 3-4 axles
- White Wire: Connect to a suitable ground.
- Red Wire: Connect to the cold side of the brake light switch.
- Blue Wire: Connect to the trailer brake wire.
Boost Settings:
- Adjust Boost for varying trailer weights and conditions:
- Boost OFF: Normal operation.
- Level 1: Light braking response.
- Level 2: Moderate braking response.
- Level 3: Aggressive braking response.
Operating Instructions:
- Set the Power Output between 0.0 to 10.0 (100%) using the Manual Override.
