  This wiring adapter offers the most convenient way to up-grade your vehicle from a standard 4-way flat connector to have both the versatility of a 4-way flat along with the capabilities of the 7-way round connector. • ModuLite® HD Plus Protector w/Integrated Circuit & Overload Protection Trailer Light Power Module & Installation Kit

  This ModuLite HD Plus Protector is a universal trailer light power module designed to be used on most vehicles, including hard-to-wire vehicles. It draws power directly from the vehicle battery and uses less than 5mA of the vehicle circuit for sensing to turn the trailer functions on and off. The unit is rated for up to 4.2 amps for Turns/Stops circuits and 7.5 amps for the Taillight circuit. It has integrated re-settable Short Circuit and Overload protection to safeguard itself and the tow vehicle from shorts and installation wiring mishaps. The module is designed not to send feedback through the vehicle circuits and will work with both LED and incandescent bulbs on the vehicle and trailer. It can be used on a 2-wire or 3-wire system and includes an integrated protective cover.

The non-corrosive molded cover eliminates grounding when operating against a fault line. The circuit breaker includes a mounting bracket and installed nuts and washers.
