Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Tow Hooks and Bolts:
- Remove tow hooks and bolts from frame rails and return them to the customer.

Raise Hitch into Position:
- Install four (4) M10 fasteners into existing weldnuts as shown in the diagram.

Drill Forward Holes:
- Using the hitch as a template, drill a 1/2" hole in each frame rail for the forward attachment.

Enlarge Access Holes:
- Remove plastic plugs in frame rails and enlarge access holes for easier bolt placement.
- Caution: Vehicles with optional rear heaters should take care to avoid damaging rear heater hoses when enlarging the passenger side access hole.

Fishwire Bolts:
- Fishwire the block and carriage bolt through each enlarged hole and install the fasteners as shown in the diagram.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque M10 fasteners to 53 lb-ft (72 N·m).
- Torque 1/2"-13 GR5 fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m).
