Step-by-Step Instructions:

Lower Spare Tire:
- Lower the spare tire to provide additional space for installation.

Remove Bumper Bolts:
- Remove the (2) M14 bolts on each side that attach the bumper mounting brackets to the frame. Retain these bolts for hitch installation.

Raise Hitch Into Position:
- First, lift the passenger's side bracket over the exhaust pipe, then lift the driver's side bracket into position.
- Secure the hitch to the frame with the M14 flange bolts removed in Step 2.
- Note: Lowering the exhaust by removing (3) exhaust hanger bolts may make installation easier.

Attach Forward Fasteners:
- On both sides, place 1/2” flat washers between the vehicle frame and hitch side brackets.
- Secure with conical toothed washers and M12 bolts (provided with the hitch).

Tighten Fasteners:
- Tighten all M12 bolts to 68 lb-ft (92 N·m).
- Tighten all M14 bolts to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m).

Reinstall Spare Tire:
- Raise the spare tire back into position.

- (4) M12 x 1.50 x 45mm CL8.8 Flange Bolts

- (4) 1/2” Conical Toothed Washers

Jumper Harness Installation

Insert Relays:
- Insert the relays provided with the kit.
- Note: Using relays other than those included may cause the unit to malfunction or damage the vehicle or trailer.

Locate the Vehicle's Jumper Plug:
- Find the 12-pin jumper plug located in the vehicle cab on the passenger’s side, behind the kick panel.

Remove Passenger Side Floor Sill and Kick Panel:
- Use a trim panel puller to remove the passenger side floor sill by pulling upwards (1) and then outward toward the rear of the vehicle (2). Be careful not to damage the panel fasteners.
- Remove the passenger side kick panel. The 12-pin jumper plug is located behind this panel.

Connect the Jumper Harness:
- Insert the jumper harness with relays into the vehicle’s 12-pin harness and lock it into place.
- Secure the remaining jumper harness with the provided cable ties and foam tape to prevent damage or rattling.
- Avoid areas where the wire may be pinched or cut.

Reassemble Panels:
- Replace the passenger side kick panel and floor sill to their original positions.
Tow Plug Harness Installation

Locate the Trailer Harness Connector:
- Find the gray 6-pin plug located under the vehicle, behind the rear bumper on the driver’s side along the frame rail.

Remove the Protective Cap:
- Remove the protective cap from the connector. Ensure all connector surfaces are clean and free of dirt.

Connect the T-Connector:
- Plug the T-Connector into the vehicle’s mating connector.
- Ensure the connectors are fully inserted and the locking tabs are secured.
Testing and Final Steps

Test the Installation:
- Use a test light or trailer to verify that the installation is functioning correctly.
- Ensure all connections are complete for the T-Connector to operate properly.
