Step-by-Step Instructions:

Lower the Exhaust:
- Detach both rear rubber muffler hangers to lower the exhaust.

Enlarge Frame Rail Holes:
- Enlarge either hole on the bottom of both frame rails with a metal file. Ensure the opening is large enough to fit the spacer.

Install Fasteners Using Pull Wire:
- Feed the pull wire through the newly enlarged hole.
- Attach the spacer and bolt, then feed them one at a time into the frame rail. Leave the pull wire attached.
- Repeat on both frame rails.

Install Additional Fasteners:
- Feed the second spacer and bolt through the enlarged hole and back out. Leave the pull wire attached.
- Repeat on both frame rails.

Position the Hitch:
- Feed the pull wires through the slot on the hitch brackets.
- Carefully raise the hitch into position without pushing the fasteners back into the frame rails.

Attach Remaining Fasteners:
- Hand-tighten all fasteners as shown in Figure 1.

Align Hitch:
- Ensure the hitch is centered on the vehicle. The bracket may not fit snugly against the side of the frame rails.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Use a torque wrench to tighten all 7/16" GR5 fasteners to 50 lb-ft (68 N·m).

Reattach Exhaust:
- Reattach the rubber muffler hangers.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Access Vehicle Wiring:
- Open the rear tailgate and remove the threshold panel.
- For Mazda 6 Sedan and Coupe, remove the two 10mm nuts securing the driver’s side taillight housing. Pull the housing directly rearward to remove and set aside.

Prepare Wiring for Mazda 6 and Toyota Camry:
- Locate the vehicle's wiring inside the trunk area by removing the plastic threshold cover and trunk liner.
- Route the black 12-gauge wire through the opening in the taillight socket and behind the bumper to the engine compartment.

- Attach the T-Connector containing the yellow and red wires between the vehicle wiring connectors behind the driver’s side taillight. Ensure the connectors are fully inserted and secure the locking tabs.

- Repeat step 3 using the T-Connector ends with the green wire.

- Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12-gauge wire using the provided yellow butt connector.

- Insert the 10-amp fuse into the fuse holder.

- Secure the T-Connector black box using the provided double-sided tape.
