Step-by-Step Instructions:

Lower Spare Tire:
- Lower and remove the spare tire to gain access to the installation area.

Remove Bumper Fascia Screws:
- Remove eight (8) torque head screws (four on top, four on bottom) that secure the bumper fascia to the understructure.

Raise Hitch into Position:
- Lift the hitch into place. For easier installation, raise one side of the forward attachment above the leaf spring, then repeat on the other side.

Install Nut Plate and Bolts:
- Slide the nut plate into the frame from the front of the vehicle as shown. Hand-tighten the 1/2” bolts into place.

Insert Bolts Using Fish Wire:
- Remove rubber grommets from the frame. Using the provided fish wires, insert two (2) 7/16” carriage bolts and two (2) 1/2” carriage bolts into their respective positions.

Secure Middle Bolts:
- Attach the middle 7/16” bolts to the hitch and hand-tighten.

Install Spacer Blocks and Rear Bolts:
- Slide 5/8” spacer blocks into place. Pass 1/2” bolts through the blocks and rearward slots in the vehicle frame as shown. Hand-tighten bolts.

Tighten All Fasteners:
- Use a torque wrench to tighten all fasteners to the specified torque values:
- 7/16”-14 GR5: 50 lb-ft (68 N*m)
- 1/2”-13 GR5: 75 lb-ft (102 N*m)
- Use a torque wrench to tighten all fasteners to the specified torque values:

Reinstall Bumper Fascia and Spare Tire:
- Reattach the bumper fascia using the eight (8) screws removed earlier. Raise and secure the spare tire.

Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector for Ram Promaster

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Access the Wiring Connectors:
- Open the rear door and remove the access panel doors on both sides to expose the vehicle’s wiring connectors.
- Several trim panel fasteners will need to be removed.

Disconnect the Wiring Harness:
- Locate the connection points matching the T-One® T-Connector adapter ends behind each taillight housing.
- Disconnect the wire harness carefully, ensuring not to damage the locking tabs.

Install the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Plug the T-One® T-Connector with the yellow wire between the vehicle’s mating connectors on the driver’s side.
- Ensure all connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place.

Route the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-Connector with the green wire through the trim panel access hole, across the top threshold, and through the passenger-side trim panel access hole.
- Connect the green wire T-Connector to the passenger-side wiring harness.
Tip: Use fish wire to pull the harness carefully to the passenger side for easier installation.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point on the driver’s side near the connectors.
- Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution: Verify the surface behind before drilling to avoid damage or injury. Do not drill into exposed surfaces.

Mount the Black Box:
- Mount the T-One® T-Connector black box using the double-sided tape provided.
- Secure the remainder of the harness using the cable ties to prevent damage or rattling.
Warning: Ensure the module is mounted with the epoxy side facing downward to prevent water accumulation.

Connect the Power Wire:
- Locate the black 12-gauge power wire from the T-One® T-Connector box on the driver’s side.
- Connect the provided black wire using the supplied yellow butt connector.
- Route the black wire through a grommet or along the exterior frame to the engine compartment, avoiding areas that could pinch or damage the wire.

Connect to the Vehicle Battery:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s negative (-) battery cable.
- Attach the ring terminal to the positive (+) battery cable and connect the black wire to the fuse holder using the yellow butt connector.
- Insert the 15-amp fuse into the fuse holder.
Warning: Follow all warnings printed on the tow vehicle’s battery.

Reconnect the Battery:
- Reconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Test and verify the installation with a test light or trailer.

Secure the Wiring:
- Use the provided cable ties to secure the wiring harness and prevent it from being pinched, cut, or melted.

Reassemble the Vehicle:
- Reinstall the threshold, storage covers, floor covering, and any other components removed during installation.

Store the 4-Flat Connector:
- Store the 4-flat connector in the rear cargo area when not in use.
