Step-by-Step Instructions:

Prepare Bolt and Plate Assembly:
- Thread the bolt leader onto the 1 3/4” carriage bolt.
- Insert the bolt leader through the hole in the reinforcing plate.

Fishwire the Bolt Assembly:
- Feed the carriage bolt (head first), followed by the reinforcing plate, into the access hole in the bottom of the frame.
- Carefully pull the bolt leader until the bolt and plate are positioned correctly. Repeat for the other side.

Install Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position on the vehicle, ensuring not to push the bolt assemblies back into the frame.
- Remove the bolt leaders and install the conical washers and nuts.

Secure Tie-Down Hook:
- Install the 2” carriage bolt along with the square hole spacer, round hole spacer, conical washer, and nut through the vehicle’s tie-down hook and the hitch’s mounting tab. Follow the sequence shown in the illustration.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all 1/2” fasteners to 75 Lb.-Ft. (102 N*M).

Final Check:
- Verify that all fasteners and the hitch ball are securely tightened.

- (2) Reinforcement Plates (1” x 3” x 1/4”)
- (3) 1/2”-13 Nuts
- (3) Conical Toothed Washers

- (1) 1/2”-13 x 2” GR5 Carriage Bolt

Safety Notes:
- Regularly inspect all fasteners and the hitch ball to ensure proper tightening.
- If the hitch is removed, plug any holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Always observe safety precautions and wear eye protection when working under the vehicle.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
