Installation Instructions for Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra Pickups (Vehicles with Amber Turn Signals and Factory Bumper)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Factory Bolts:
- Remove the existing M14 bolts from the end of each frame rail.

Position Hitch:
- Lift the receiver into position.
- Align the rearmost slots in the receiver under the existing weldnuts in the vehicle frame.

Install Factory Bolts:
- Reinstall the existing M14 bolts through the receiver and frame into the weldnuts.

Install Additional Fasteners:
- Install the remaining fasteners as shown in the installation diagram.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Use a torque wrench to tighten:
- All 1/2"-13 GR5 fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N*m).
- All M14 fasteners to 115 lb-ft (156 N*m).
- Use a torque wrench to tighten:

- 1/2"-13 GR5 bolts: 75 lb-ft (102 N*m)
- M14 fasteners: 115 lb-ft (156 N*m)

Safety Notes:
- Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are securely tightened.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or body panels to prevent water or exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Always wear safety glasses and observe safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
