Step-by-Step Instructions:
General Installation Notes:
- Ensure there will be no interference from the tow vehicle, tongue, ground, or mounted accessories while stationary or in motion.
- Check for interference in all positions, including handle swing and swivel positions, before and after installation.
Bolt-On Rack Jack Installation:
- Place the gear housing on the tongue and insert the supplied bolts into the holes corresponding to the tongue width.
- Position the mounting bracket below the tongue with the flat surface against the tongue.

Bolt-On Mounting Bracket Instructions:
- Confirm the correct mounting hole pattern for your tongue size. The gap between the mounting bolts and tongue must not exceed 1/16".
- Place the jack against the tongue and position the mounting straps on the opposite side.
- Insert four bolts through the mounting bracket and straps, ensuring the upper bolts rest on the tongue top and the lower bolts are within 1/16” from the bottom.
- Secure with locknuts and torque to 25 ft-lbs.
- Verify clearance of the handle, trailer light cables, and coupler.
Snap Ring/Bolt-Through Instructions:
- Snap Ring Models:
- Place the jack bracket over the mount and fully seat the snap ring into the groove.
- Bolt-Through Models:
- Insert the jack bracket into the recessed opening on the mount. Place the small end of the bushing into the jack bracket and onto the bolt.
- Tighten the locknut until there is minimal movement in the bushing.
A-Plate Mounting Instructions (Bolt-On or Weld-On):
- Welding must be performed by an AWS-certified welder.
- Align the jack and foot (if equipped) with the coupler. Use a 3/16” fillet weld.
- Bolt-On: Secure with three 3/8-16 grade-5 bolts and washers, torqued to 15-20 ft-lbs.

- Never exceed the rated capacity of the jack, footplate, or caster wheel.
- Avoid applying side forces as they may cause jack failure.
- Ensure locking mechanisms are fully engaged before operation.
- Replace worn or damaged parts before use.
- Do not attempt to adjust the drop foot or leg under load.
Maintenance:
- Side-Wind Models:
- Lubricate internal gearing and bushings with automotive grease.
- Apply light oil to the handle unit at both sides of the tube.
