Installation Instructions for 7-Way Blade Trailer Plug

Step-by-Step Installation Instructions:
Plug Instructions:
- Loosen the set screw on the plug and remove it from the housing.
- Pull trailer wires through the housing and attach them securely to the plug terminals.
- Important: Ensure wires are attached to the plug terminals in the same function positions as the 7-Way Blade socket insert. Refer to the wiring diagram for guidance.
- Insert the plug back into the housing, aligning the keyway on the plug with the key housing.
- Re-tighten the set screw to secure the plug.
Testing:
- Verify all connections using a test light, circuit tester, or trailer to ensure proper functionality.
Warnings:
- All connections must be complete for the system to function correctly.
- Overloading circuits can cause fires. Adhere to the following maximum ratings:
- Right Turn, Left Turn, Stop, & Tail Light Circuits: 7.5 amps
- (+) Battery, Reverse, and Electric Brake Circuits: 30 amps
- Refer to the vehicle owner’s manual and these instructions for additional details. Additional fusing may be required.
