- Insert and tighten the M12 x 1.25 x 35 CL8.8 bolts with conical toothed washers (8 places).

- Return the removed fasteners and tow hooks to the vehicle owner.

- Tighten all M12 CL8.8 fasteners to 68 lb-ft (92 N*m).

Vehicle-Specific Instructions:
1A. For Nissan Altima:
- Open the trunk and remove the plastic threshold plate.
- Pull back the trunk lining behind the tail lamps on both sides to expose the vehicle's wiring connectors.
- The vehicle’s connectors will match the ends of the T-Connector harness.
1B. For Nissan Pathfinder & Infiniti QX4:
- Open the rear door and remove the plastic threshold plate.
- Partially remove the rear interior trim panel on both sides of the vehicle behind the tail lamps.
- Locate a square access hole behind the tail lamps to access the vehicle’s wiring connectors.
- The vehicle’s connectors will match the ends of the T-Connector harness.

Separate the driver’s side connectors located in step 1.
- Insert the T-Connector with the yellow wire in-between the connectors.

Route the wire across to the passenger’s side.
- Repeat step 2 using the T-Connector with the green wire.

Locate a suitable grounding point on the driver’s side near the connectors.
- Caution: Do not drill into the vehicle floor or bed.
- Drill a 3/32" hole and secure the white wire with the provided eyelet and screw.

Test the installation with a test light or trailer.

Secure the black box to the vehicle using the provided cable tie or screw.

Reattach all interior trim panels, threshold plate, and trunk lining.
