Installation Instructions for 2019-Current Honda Passport

Tools Required:
- Ratchet
- Torque Wrench
- Safety Glasses
- 21 mm Socket
- 6-inch Socket Extension
- M14x1.5 Tap
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Clean Weldnuts:
- Remove any stickers or plugs covering the weldnuts on the frame rails (both sides).
- Ensure weldnuts are free of rust and debris. Use an M14x1.5 tap if necessary.

Install Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position and align the holes in the hitch bracket with the frame rail weldnuts.
- Loosely install the supplied M14 bolts and conical washers.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Use a torque wrench to tighten all M14 fasteners to 89 ft-lbs (121 Nm).
Hardware List:
- (6) Bolt M14x1.5x45 CL10.9
- (6) Conical Washer 5/8"
Safety Notes:
- Always wear safety glasses during installation.
- Ensure proper torque to keep the hitch securely mounted.
- Check hitch and fasteners regularly for proper tightness.
- Damaged hitch or ball should be removed and replaced.
- Never cut attachment holes with a torch.
- Observe all safety precautions when working under the vehicle.
