Step-by-Step Instructions:

Lower Exhaust:
- Detach the exhaust from the two rubber isolators. Use lubricant or soapy water to assist with removal.

Install Passenger-Side Fasteners:
- Use the reverse pull wire procedure to insert the shorter 7/16” carriage bolt and spacer into the passenger-side frame rail. Leave the pull wire attached.

Install Driver-Side Fasteners:
- Use the pull wire to install the forward bolt and spacer in the driver-side frame rail.
- Reverse pull wire the rearward bolt and spacer into position. Leave the pull wires attached.

Position Spacers and Hitch:
- Place spacers on the driver-side bracket and feed the pull wire through the appropriate slots on both sides.
- Raise the hitch into position and use conical washers to hold the carriage bolts in place.

Attach Fasteners:
- Remove the pull wires and secure the fasteners with hex nuts.

Install U-Bolt on Tow Hook:
- Wrap the U-bolt around the tow hook and secure it through the chain plate holes with flat washers, lock washers, and 3/8” nuts.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all 7/16”-14 GR5 fasteners to 55 Lb.-Ft. (75 N*M).
- Torque all 3/8”-16 GR5 fasteners to 30 Lb.-Ft. (41 N*M).

Adjust Exhaust Hanger Spears:
- Bend the exhaust hanger spears downward by 1/2” for additional muffler clearance.
- Reattach the exhaust by securing the rubber isolators to the exhaust hanger spears.

Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector for Honda Fit

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open Rear Hatch:
- Open the hatch and remove the taillights on both driver and passenger sides.
- Carefully pull the taillights away from the vehicle, ensuring not to damage the alignment pins.

Locate the Vehicle Wiring Harness:
- On both sides, locate the taillight wiring harness. The harness will have a connection point matching the ends of the T-One® Connector.

Route the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Route the harness containing the yellow wire underneath the vehicle and up through the opening between the bumper and body to the driver-side taillight pocket.

Connect the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Disconnect the grey 2-pin connector on the driver-side taillight housing.
- Insert the T-One® Connector end with the yellow wire between the vehicle wiring connectors and lock securely.
- Repeat the process for the black 3-pin connector using the T-One® Connector with the brown wire.

Mount the Black Box:
- Mount the T-One® Connector black box on the driver’s side using the provided double-sided tape.
- Secure the remainder of the T-One® Connector harness with the provided cable ties, avoiding areas that could pinch or cut the wires.
Warning:
- Ensure the module’s epoxy side is facing downward to prevent water accumulation.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector, such as an existing ground stud.
- Clean the area of dirt and rustproofing, drill a 3/32” hole, and secure the white wire with the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution:
- Verify what is behind the surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury.

Route the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-One® Connector end with the green wire up through the opening on the passenger side, avoiding hot pipes, heat shields, fuel tanks, or other areas that may pinch the wire.

Connect the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Disconnect the grey 2-pin connector on the passenger-side taillight housing.
- Insert the T-One® Connector end with the green wire between the vehicle wiring connectors and lock securely.
- Repeat the process for the black 3-pin connector using the T-One® Connector with the red wire.

Connect the Power Wire:
- Locate the black 12-gauge power wire from the T-One® Connector black box and attach the provided black wire using the supplied yellow butt connector.
- Route the black wire along the exterior frame or follow the existing wiring to the engine compartment.
Warning:
- Avoid areas that may pinch, cut, or melt the wire.

Connect to the Vehicle Battery:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder.
- Attach the ring terminal to the positive (+) battery cable and connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black power wire using the yellow butt connector.
- Insert the 15-amp fuse into the fuse holder.

Reconnect the Battery:
- Reconnect the negative (-) battery cable and test the installation with a test light or trailer.

Secure the Wiring:
- Use the provided cable ties to secure the wiring harness, avoiding areas that may pinch, cut, or melt the wire.

Reassemble the Vehicle:
- Reinstall the plastic trim panels, storage covers, and floor covering, ensuring no wires are pinched or damaged.

Store the 4-Flat Connector:
- Route the 4-flat connector underneath the vehicle to the center and mount it in an accessible location with a bracket (not included).
