Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Remove Fascia (Chevrolet Traverse):
- Open the tailgate and remove (4) plastic covers below the taillights.
- Remove the (4) screws behind the covers using a 7 mm socket, (2) per side.
- Remove (2) screws connecting the bottom edge of the fascia to metal support tabs using a T20 socket.
- Remove (8) screws connecting the wheel well liner to the fascia using a T15 socket, (4) per side.
- Pull back the wheel well trim and remove (2) screws connecting the fascia to the vehicle body using a 7 mm socket, (1) per side.
- Starting from the wheel well, gently pull off the fascia. Disconnect any attached wires.
2. Remove Fascia (Buick Enclave):
- Using a T15 Torx bit, remove (2) screws from the bottom of the fascia.
- Using a flat head screwdriver, remove (2) bolt covers, then remove the (2) bolts below the taillight with a 7 mm socket, per side.
- Use a T20 Torx bit to remove (1) screw below the taillight, per side.
- Remove (4) screws from the wheel well liner with a T15 Torx bit, per side.
- Use a 7 mm socket to remove (1) vertically attached bolt under the wheel well liner, per side.
- Starting from the wheel well, gently pull off the fascia and disconnect any attached wires.
3. Support Exhaust & Remove Bumper Beam:
- Remove (4) M10 nuts from the top bumper attachments with a 15 mm socket, (2) per side.
- Remove (4) M10 bolts from the bottom bumper attachments with a 15 mm socket, (2) per side.
- Support the exhaust system, as the bolts also attach the exhaust hangers.
- Return the bumper and bolts to the vehicle owner.
4. Install Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position over the bumper studs and reinstall the nuts removed earlier.
- Raise the exhaust hangers into position and install M10 bolts with conical washers (teeth side toward the hitch).
- Feed carriage bolts and spacers into the vehicle frame through the access hole in the hitch using fish wires.
- Remove the fish wires and loosely install conical washers (teeth side toward hitch) and hex nuts onto the carriage bolts.
5. Torque Fasteners:
- Tighten all 1/2" GR5 fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m).
- Tighten all M10 fasteners to 38 lb-ft (52 N·m).
6. Reinstall Fascia:
- Reinstall the exhaust muffler and fascia.
- Connect the electrical harness while reinstalling the fascia.

- 4 × Fish Wires (1/2")
Safety Notes:
- Always wear safety glasses during installation.
- Proper torque is essential to secure the hitch to the vehicle.
- Check the hitch periodically to ensure all fasteners and the hitch ball are secure.
- Plug any exposed holes in the trunk pan or body panels if the hitch is removed to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or hitch ball before use.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.

Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector for Chevrolet Traverse

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Locate the Vehicle’s Tow Plug:
- Underneath the vehicle on the driver’s side, locate the vehicle’s tow plug.
- Disconnect the mating protective cover and discard it.
- Connect the tow plug harness into the mating harness.
- Ensure the mating surfaces of the connectors match, and all connector surfaces are clean and free of dirt.
- Be careful not to damage the locking tabs and ensure the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place.

Route the T-Connector Harness:
- Route the T-Connector harness rearward to the back of the fascia of the bumper.
Warning: Be careful to avoid hot pipes, heat shields, the fuel tank, or any other points that may pinch or break the wire.

Secure the 4-Flat Tow Harness:
- Secure the 4-flat tow harness to the hitch. (Bracket not included.)
- Use the provided cable ties to secure the remainder of the T-One® T-Connector harness under the bumper, ensuring the wires avoid any areas that could cut or pinch them.

Test and Verify Installation:
- Ensure all connections are complete for the T-One® T-Connector to function properly.
- Test the installation using a test light or trailer.
- For the initial test, reset the vehicle’s electrical system by temporarily removing the key from the ignition.
