Step-by-Step Instructions:

Lower Spare Tire:
- Open the rear hatch to access the spare tire winch.
- Using a 20 mm socket, lower the spare tire and set it aside for later.

Remove Exterior Trim Panel:
- On the driver's side, use a flat head screwdriver to remove three push rivets.
- Carefully pull the trim panel off and set it aside for later reinstallation.

Trim Fascia:
- Using a tape measure, marker, and utility knife, measure, mark, and trim the lower fascia as required.

Lower Exhaust:
- Remove the rear and side hangers while supporting the exhaust to avoid damage.
- Spray lubricant or soapy water on the metal hanger rod and rubber isolator to ease removal.

Install Hitch A:
- Raise the hitch into position and install fasteners:
- Driver's Side: Insert items 1 and 2 and tighten using a 3/4" socket.
- Passenger's Side: Insert items 4 and 5 and tighten using a 19 mm socket.
- Fasteners should pass through both the hitch brackets and the vehicle frame for support.
- Raise the hitch into position and install fasteners:

Install Hitch B:
- Using a 16 mm socket, insert items 7 and 8 through the hitch bracket into the vehicle frame weld nuts.
- Hand-tighten initially.
- Clean debris or corrosion from existing weld nuts in the frame using a wire brush.
- Install remaining items 2, 3, and 6 onto matching bolts.

Torque Fasteners:
- Tighten M10 CL10.9 fasteners to 40 ft-lbs (54 N*m).
- Tighten 1/2 GR5 fasteners to 75 ft-lbs (102 N*m).
- Tighten M12 GR8.8 fasteners to 68 ft-lbs (92 N*m).

Reinstall Components:
- Reinstall the exhaust, trim panel, and spare tire.
- Push the spare tire forward while raising it to provide additional clearance for the hitch.

- Wire Cutters
- Philips Head Screwdriver

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Access Rear Wiring:
- Open the rear hatch and remove the plastic screw covers on the taillight mounting screws using a trim panel tool or screwdriver.
- Remove the mounting screws (2 per side) with a Phillips screwdriver.
- Carefully pull the taillights away to expose the wiring harness.

Disconnect Taillight Wiring Harness:
- Disconnect the vehicle wiring harness from the taillight connectors on both sides.
- Ensure all connectors are clean and the locking tabs are not damaged.

Route Driver-Side Harness:
- Route the T-One® Connector harness containing the yellow wire through the opening between the vehicle bumper and body to the driver’s side taillight pocket.
- Use a fish wire for easier routing.

Connect Driver-Side T-One® Connector:
- Insert the T-One® Connector with the yellow wire between the vehicle wiring harness and the taillight connector.
- Ensure all connections are clean and secure.

Mount the Black Box:
- On the driver’s side, locate a suitable flat surface behind the rear bumper fascia.
- Clean the mounting surface with a 50-50 mixture of rubbing alcohol and water.
- Mount the T-One® Connector black box using the provided double-sided tape.
Caution: Ensure the epoxy side of the module faces downward to prevent water buildup.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a grounding point near the black box or drill a 3/32” hole.
- Clean the grounding area and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution: Verify the area behind the surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury.

Route Passenger-Side Harness:
- Route the green wire from the T-One® Connector down underneath the vehicle and up through the opening to the passenger-side taillight pocket.
Warning: Avoid hot pipes, heat shields, or areas that could pinch or damage the wire.

Connect Passenger-Side T-One® Connector:
- Insert the T-One® Connector with the green wire between the vehicle wiring harness and the taillight connector.
- Ensure all connections are clean and secure.

Connect the Power Wire:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder.
- Attach the ring terminal to the Positive (+) battery cable.
- Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12-gauge wire using the provided yellow butt connector.

Route the Black Power Wire:
- Starting from the vehicle’s front, route the black 12-gauge wire rearward along the frame rail.
- Avoid hot pipes, heat shields, fuel tanks, or other areas that could damage the wire.

Connect Power Wire to Black Box:
- Attach the black 12-gauge wire to the black power wire on the T-One® Connector’s black box using the provided yellow butt connector.

Reconnect Battery and Test:
- Reconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable.
- Install the 15-amp fuse into the fuse holder.
- Test the installation with a test light or trailer.
- Reset the vehicle’s electrical system by temporarily removing the key from the ignition.

Reassemble Components:
- Reinstall the taillights, trim panels, and other items removed during installation, ensuring no wires are pinched or damaged.
- Route the 4-Flat connector to an accessible location and mount it using a bracket or electrical box (not included).

- Overloading circuits can cause fires. Do not exceed stated product ratings.
