Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Bumper Support Brackets:
- Remove the two lower bumper support brackets, one per side. Save the bolts and washers, and return the brackets to the owner.

Install Side Brackets:
- Place the left and right side brackets against the frame bottom.
- Install four 1/2" bolts and washers (removed in Step 1). Leave these bolts loose.

Install Bumper Bolts:
- Install two 3/8" bumper bolts (removed in Step 1), two 3/8" conical washers, and two 3/8" lock nuts from the parts package. Leave the lock nuts loose.
- Warning: Always use the 3/8" lock nuts with the 3/8" bumper bolts to prevent the receiver from loosening or separating.

Fishwire Bolts into Place:
- Screw the pull wire onto a 1/2" carriage bolt and feed it through a bolt plate and the large hole on the outboard side of the frame. Pull it out through the bottom hole of the frame.
- Repeat for the other side.
- Install two 1/2" conical washers, lock washers, and hex nuts on the bolts. Leave the nuts loose.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Tighten bolts and nuts in the exact order listed below to pull the receiver rearward to the bumper before tightening the frame bolts:
- Torque the two 3/8" lock nuts on the bumper to 30 ft-lb (41 N·m).
- Torque the 1/2" nuts and bolts to 75 ft-lb (102 N·m).
- Tighten bolts and nuts in the exact order listed below to pull the receiver rearward to the bumper before tightening the frame bolts:
Torque Specifications:
- 3/8" Lock Nuts: 30 ft-lb (41 N·m)
- 1/2"-13 Nuts and Bolts: 75 ft-lb (102 N·m)

- (2) Carriage Bolts, 1/2"-13 x 2.00
- (2) Blocks
- (2) Pull Wires, 1/2"-13
- (2) Conical Washers, 1/2"
- (2) Lock Washers, 1/2"
- (2) Hex Nuts, 1/2"-13
- (2) 3/8" Bumper Bolts
- (2) 3/8" Conical Washers
- (2) 3/8" Lock Nuts
Safety Notes:
- Regularly inspect the hitch to ensure all fasteners and the ball are securely tightened.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Plug any holes in the vehicle's trunk pan or body panels to prevent water or exhaust fumes from entering.
- Do not lubricate threads, as bolt failure may occur due to over-tightening.
- Follow proper safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle, including wearing eye protection.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
- Do not drill or weld the hitch.
