Installation Time:
- Approximately 50 minutes for professional installers
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Prepare Vehicle:
- Lower the spare tire.
- Remove the electrical plug mounting bracket, vibration dampener, and factory hitch (if equipped).
- Save the plates, bolts, and nuts from the factory hitch for reuse.

Insert Bolts:
- Insert bolts and washers into the frame through the access points.
-
Position Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position and loosely attach washers and nuts by hand.

Install Spacers:
- Working on one side at a time, loosen the bumper mounting bracket bolts.
- Slide the 3/16" spacers into position and adjust the bumper alignment.
- Retighten the bracket bolts.

Support Bumper:
- Place a block of wood between the hitch and the bumper to support the bumper during the next steps.

Install Vertical Attachments:
- Remove the nuts and bolt plates securing the bumper mounting bracket to the frame.
- Slide the vertical attachment between the frame and the bracket.
- Reinstall the factory bolt plates and nuts, adjusting the bumper alignment as needed.
- Repeat for the other side.

Attach Electrical Bracket:
- Drill new holes in the factory electrical bracket using the mounting tab as a guide and secure it (fasteners not included).

Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all M12 fasteners to 92 lb-ft (125 N*m).
- Torque all M14 fasteners to 115 lb-ft (156 N*m).

Reinstall Spare Tire:
- Raise the spare tire back into position.
Torque Specifications:
- M12 fasteners: 92 lb-ft (125 N*m)
- M14 fasteners: 115 lb-ft (156 N*m)
Hardware List:
- (12) Bolts, M14 x 2.00 x 45mm CL10.9
- (24) Conical Washers, 5/8"
- (12) Hex Nuts, M14 x 2.00
- (4) Spacers, 1" x 2" x 3/16"
Safety Notes:
- Frequently inspect the hitch to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the vehicle body to prevent water or exhaust fumes from entering.
- Always wear safety glasses and observe safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
